If anyone else saw the 3d in the screenshots and got excited - it's virtio gpu - no real GPU hardware support unfortunately.
But it's cool to see how little you need to implement to get a decent system.
Unfortunately as soon as you hit any graphics chipset or somewhat complicated peripheral you end up in a labyrinth of over-engineered SDKs and firmware blobs.
Yet another permissive-licensed kernel or coreutils. Feels like we have learned nothing at the state of corporatism we are now.
Wow this is an impressive project to be running so much real software. well done!
