That Time I Worked With a Laptop Thief

I saw a laptop for sale on facebook last year that retails for almost $2,000 and the guy was asking $200 for it. It was only a couple months old according to its serial number, clean system install no managed lock, he said nothing wrong with it, was willing to sign a receipt for me, he just didn't want it anymore... I did a bit of online stalking of the guy and found a linked in saying he's a IT adminstrator in a neighboring county.

I never proved it but still suspect this thing was stolen from his employer.
