Expensively Quadratic: the LLM Agent Cost Curve

Claude Code recently changed its exit from plan mode to make the default choice “clear the context and do the work”. It writes out the conversation to a temp file and writes itself a new prompt with just the final plan and a note to go look at the transcript if it needs more detail on something. It seems to work fine and I’m sure it’s saving a ton of work.

Now even hosting saas writes about llm, who is next? Snail farm will start publishing skills.md ? Argh.
