I guess that's one way to slow down viruses, ensure they have no hardware resources to run on
Hasn't this already been a thing for years.. pretty sure I was stuck running this back in, uh, 2019ish? And at least back then it was a total nightmare that would kill your I/O performance entirely, because it would force all I/O on the computer through one, very tired, core...
This is a new desktop version. The server version has been around for a while.
I'll be looking forward to making sweet consultant dough from customers, thanks Microsoft! L
For some reason they really, really, don't understand Linux. Impressively bad sudoers rules for SCOM, the SCOM agent implementing custom checks as copy-this-shellscript-into-/tmp-then-execute-and-then-delete-it without multiplexing SSH (what, /tmp is full/can't be written to? Insert incomprehensible error message here), breaking Debian repo mirrors by having invalid characters in package names, willy-nilly appending their crap to (or overwriting) files in /etc.
And that's just off the top of my head, and I try my darnedest to stay away from proprietary software...
