How Much Linear Memory Access Is Enough?

Author here. Some parts of our geometry processing pipeline are chunked by necessity so I wanted to get a feel for what block sizes are "good enough".
It's interesting how early this saturates. For most cases ~128 kB suffice plenty and the "hot take" is that no one needs more than 1 MB (terms and conditions apply).
