The alt text provides some context I feel I needed to understand what's going on here:
A 40mm PVC drainage pipe on a messy work bench, each end plugged with an audio transceiver made of a 3D printed body with PCBs attached to it. The transceivers are connected to a raspberry pi each via USB. A screen is showing two terminals with the log of the network transceiver code log and one terminal with ping being performed, taking about 9 seconds per ping.
