Plasma Bigscreen - 10-foot interface for KDE plasma

This is yet another thing that gives me good vibes about KDE these days.

I am in the process of moving my media consumption to a Kodi+Jellyfin setup, and my dream is to run it alongside Plasma Bigscreen for things that don't fit neatly into Kodi. I know right now the only way to get things like refresh rate changing is to use Kodi on GBM, but I wonder if we're headed toward a future where Plasma Bigscreen on Wayland could let me launch Kodi within an HDR environment with full support for refresh rate changing and SDR/HDR switching. The future looks bright, and that's not my TV talking because its peak brightness is only 600 nits ;-).
