Makes me want to work on gui again - an unix tool to stand up Tcl/Tk GUIs quickly. (Not usable yet)
Thanks for sharing! This could be the successor to wish that I've wanted for a while. How complete is the expression language itself, and is "gui" the right name for that language or should I call it something else?
gui will most likely be the name of the utility, yes! The language itself probably could use some more design work still. It's too early (need to make sure it's composable enough - that things can be plumbed together) and I'm not actively working on it at the moment.
I don’t think speed is a problem in the long run. If something is desired and speed is a bottleneck companies will build the infrastructure to make it faster.
