I don't think Intel was the best choice for the build. You can get an EPYC 9115 which has double the PCIe lanes, 3x more memory channels, 2x more cache, consumes 50-75W less power and costs ~$300 less than the CPU they chose. The 9005 EPYCs also come with cache injection (SDCI), so things like DDIO shouldn't be a reason to pick Intel anymore.
I have to say, it's my first exposure to SCION. It took me a bit of a moment to grasp what they are trying to achieve, especially when I realized there are no route reflectors.
Still need to read the IETF drafts properly, but I'm glad to see some people giving it a whirl in the real world.
when i clicked i thought this was a pc build for michael burry's hedge fund
