This was a decently good read, but I'm unsure if it's fit for this website.
Yeah, there's nothing about tech or even vibecoding in it.
AI is tech. Indeed AI is currently redefining the majority of the tech industry -- admittedly, in the sense that an uncontrolled fire "redefines" a library from being "a source of wisdom and knowledge" to "a moderately low-quality bulk source of high-potassium fertiliser".
AI is tech, and tech increasingly is AI, because a great many people do not possess the skills of reason and critical thinking to see how harmful it is to them. (Also see: gambling; smoking, use of narcotics and other addictive substances, etc.)
Therefore, informed criticism of AI is useful and relevant in tech communities, especially ones with a large percentage of pro-AI members.
Everything is political, yes yes.
It might be useful and relevant, but it might not be welcome.
