I don't usually read articles about retrocomputing (I'm filtering the tag), but this is really cool.

It's about making an MS-DOS demo run in an emulator. The cool part about the demo is that it manages to squeeze out high resolutions and colours on plain old CGA hardware, but doing so requires orchestrating the hardware in a way that most emulators aren't able to do.

There's a lot of details in the post as to what makes the demo so interesting, how it pulls off its tricks, and it's explained in a very clear to understand way. Really liked the article and wanted to share it.
