Some might say this is all a coincidence, and that the episode had nothing to do with AI agents. But I beg to differ — the show dropped subtle hints from the very first episode. Look closely at the eyes of the characters, and you will see it: those are not mere squiggles, those are actually very small Claude logos!

Sorry but no. The episode in question predates Anthropic's formation by 7 years and Claude's release by 9 years.

Also I find it odd that the article doesn't mention any prior art and its similar relevance. IMO this episode is definitely at-least-partially inspired by The Sorcerer's Apprentice segment from 1940's film Fantasia (or the 1797 poem by Goethe that it was based on).
