I put this thing into the world because I wanted to make it
This is a work of art. You always have free license to critique art, and file many pointless github issues disagreeing with its design or identifying its defects
In the case of defects, you are informing me of a flaw in my craftsmanship, for my sake. I should want anything with my name on it to be free of defects
But I owe you nothing, and violate no social contract if I utterly ignore everything you write. Your recourse is to put a fixed version into the world because you want it fixed

When I was young and I just started writing software, I often wondered why the warranty disclaimer in software licenses was always in ALL CAPS. You know, the bit that says WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND [...]? Surely we don't have to shout it; it'll have the same legal effect either way.

Then I created one moderately popular project on github, and now I think I understand why.

Some of them ended in .gov, which said “you tried to seek government funding. This incident will be reported,” with a silly picture of a Shiba Inu.
