Introducing mapsnap: Automated Georeferencing for Historic Sanborn Insurance Maps

Very cool. My block is not populated with available data, but the surrounding blocks are. I am not sure if it’s one of the unplaced images: a useful improvement might be showing those, and accepting suggestions for where they’d go.

I've used those maps for my work. If you buy commercial real estate you want to know if there was a service station there previously.
