Malleable Software

I have this hunch that a part of what makes these LLM agents addictive is the easyness of molding your software how you like it, somewhat similar to Emacs, neovim or Glamorous Toolkit, heck maybe even Excel. You can create that config/setup you always wanted a lot faster now.
A sense of community(OSS) and good defaults matter to me more than complete malleability tho.
Yes! Things like trying other programs also become easier because of this. For example, on Linux I used i3 for a long time, then recently switched to Sway, which is basically a Wayland port of i3. More recently, I wanted to try a tiling window manager on my MacBook as well. I installed Aerospace, provided my i3 configs to OpenCode, and told it to reconfigure my existing Aerospace config accordingly. Voila! Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
