Quantifying the Swiss marriage tax

This also exists in the US - much like the Swiss one it basically penalizes dual income marriages because the taxation rules are essentially built around the idea of a stay at home wife. Hooray.

The many graphs seem to imply the Swiss version is less extreme than the US, but I found the article to be overwhelmingly dense - not saying this is bad, just my current workload means I can't really sit down and read it as thoroughly as I'd like.
