Nice writeup. Curious why Bazel didn't make the comparison list, since it seems like the obvious other candidate once you've landed on "Starlark + content-addressed actions + remote cache."
It even does local sandboxing out of the box (linux-sandbox), which Buck2 mostly doesn't and which boxes seem partly built to compensate for.
