Building a living, ethical network in 2026

What websites, Gemini capsules, etc... would you add to a list of lively locales for building an ethical non-tech centric network for sharing ideas and conversation?

I don't want to influence the answers too much, but examples could include:

https://are.na/: their business model and usage align
Certain Mastodon instances such as https://merveilles.town/
https://radiopaper.com/ has an interesting approach to sustaining themselves

etc...

Can you maybe define what you want a bit more and maybe we can help? What do you mean by ethical?

Well I intentionally kept it open to interpretation. If I write something like this:

"An organization or group who maintain the technical infrastructure are chartered to act primarily in the interest of the community they serve and not an outside party is ethical."

It's too easy to draw value judgements about venture capital funded firms vs. public benefit corporations. And that's not really what this questions is about. It's about where people who respond find their values match where they spend their time.
