A bit off-topic, apologies: I absolutely loved the translucent 'new' laptop acid burn got. I read somewhere it was actually a pre-production apple device, but I'd love a device like that. Also: the boot screens these hackers had were awesome, spent quite some time getting a flames boot screen but I never got something that even came close to 'okay'
It was totally a Powerbook 540 with translucent external plastic :)
There was a flames tui display manager that was damn close for arch, but the name of it escapes me at the moment.
Love this, but I'm also Gen X, so
