With the recent discussion about e-mail setup I remembered there is this software that bridges MS Exchange (and appearently even MS 365) e-mail to a proper standard IMAP. It even has a server mode so one could deploy it on a VPS or something to break out of the Microsoft universe.

If it interests others, it also seems that GitHub mirror is done manually based on https://sourceforge.net/p/davmail/code/commit_browser containing https://sourceforge.net/p/davmail/code/3949/ (from 29 Jan) and https://github.com/mguessan/davmail/commits/master/ not. I am glad Subversion makes them happy
