Vibecoding Challenge 2: The Five Feathers (Spring 2026)

Okay, last time we established that vibecoding can't produce working compilers. Let's try some other side projects of mine. I have important stuff to work on and a deadline, so I'm not matching these projects with my own submissions. Instead, I've laid out a psuedo-objective rubric and I'm going to say that par is 10/10 points.
I paid attention to all of the complaints given previously, on Lobsters, and I think that I've addressed all of them. I am not going to literally hand out feathers of cowardice, but I think that it is time for all of the chatbot fans to prove their claims that the chatbots can do maths and technical writing and discovering new computer science and all of the other things that they are advertised to do.
Also, if you think that the rules were unfair last time specifically because I required 100% vibecoding, then you're in luck! I've loosened the rules and you can insert as much of yourself into your submission as you like. Try out Task 1, which is yet another compiler challenge.
