Compact Pro deserves a mention too.
Came here literally to mention this. Even years after it stopped getting developed, it was simply faster than all the other options still. I wish the author would have open-sourced it.
Are these proprietary formats fully documented anywhere?
I’ve never seen nor heard of the DiskDoubler NuBus card. Interesting!
Neither had I (and certainly not that it was common) but I didn’t use many of the six slot NuBuses, so maybe it was more common on the II or IIx than the IIci I favoured.
