I would like to see any applications of differential forms to geometric mesh computations, since the generalized Stokes Theorem is much more elegant in that formalism than in undergrad vector calculus.
there's a nice line of research on using discrete exterior calculus to build geometric representations that obey stokes (or other curl/gradient) theorems "on the nose", thereby providing a more robust representation!
