Template Parameter Deduction: Eliminating Hidden Copies in Generic Code

So much mental energy spent on this issue because of the design decision of "everything should behave like an int". Now I do think value semantics is beneficial, but I think for the particular issue of copying, Rust's approach of explicit .clone is better.
