Typst Meetup 2026: Keynote

Incredibly honored to be mentioned in this (5:50)! Typst has been such a great project to contribute to and I've definitely appreciated the increase in professionalism in its development practices.

But even more impressive to me is the commitment to building a sustainable and welcoming community/business that doesn't feel the need to grow uncontrollably. The choices that have been put into making the language work long-term are unconventional, but they give me a confidence in using and recommending Typst that is so refreshing.

Also really cool to see some concrete numbers (9:15) on usage. 2nd fastest growing language on GitHub is exciting!
