Interesting, but I wonder what stops you - anybody using the protocol - from buying fake domains and have then machines vouched for you :)

Haha I assume it's about two things:
1. Introduce friction. Motivated actors will game it, but we remove the worst offenders who correlate with being the laziest
2. Combining human.json with other signals of human authorship, like an IndieWeb slashpage

A machine readable format for human authorship. Does that mean we'll get a human readable format for AI authorship?

I have this set up on my blog, and I happen to know the author of this blog is human!

I do have one concern. Similar to the concern with the Not by AI badge awhile back (https://notbyai.fyi/): this could help scrapers identify non-AI content.
