Some Thoughts on the Open Web

Bunch of different thoughts on this, but none of them all that substantial. My first is about Google's use of the term "Open Web" as newspeak to mean "viewable in Chrome", regardless of how open in any other sense it is. My second is that I'm less and less willing to put anything I create on the "Open Web" today, because it will produce more value for the Worst People In The World than it previously would have provided to the General Public.
