A detailed introduction to Kakoune for the aspiring power user

The multi selection paradigm is very close (not to say identical) to the structural regex concept of the sam editor. Except they call selection the "dot", and all operations apply to "dot".

For those that would like to play with this concept while keeping the "known" vim movements, there's the vis. I do like the idea of being able to move around the file without updating the dot/selection so I'm not sure kakoune way of setting the selection would suit me.
