JJ my beloved
It's sooooo good! I've switched to it a while back and haven't looked back since
I switched almost a year ago. Time flies. But now I'm in a new project that uses Git LFS, which JJ doesn't support yet. So I'm back with regular Git, at least for that project.
And in another project I have had problem with JJ not supporting Git Submodules. But that hasn't been that big of a problem for me.
Submodules should work, in the sense that you use git to manage them, and they won't interfere with jj.
LFS has had some movement in a similar way recently, hopefully that will get across the line, we'll see.
How do people usually say or pronounce "jujutsu" in casual conversation?
Do you say "J J" or "jujutsu"?
Being Swedish, I also don't know if I'm supposed to pronounce them in a Swedish or English way. And nobody knows about JJ in my circles, and neither JJ nor Jujutsu makes a lot of sense as a name. So I always feel weird saying it and I mix between the different ways to say it.
Love JJ though! And I don't care about the name. It just is what it is with the name
I call it "jay jay" in all speaking circumstances, personally. I think it's a better name than "jujutsu."
So what are the rules? Some projects are okay with posting release links?
According to the modlog, it seems as if your projects were temporarily blocked due to self promo.
Posting other people’s releases are ok, absuing the self promo system is not.
Just the ones we’re all totally obsessed with at the moment.
Assuming you're literally asking for more info on the rules, see the about page, under "Self-promotion":
It's great to have authors participate in the community, but not to exploit it as a write-only tool for product announcements or driving traffic to their work. As a rule of thumb, self-promo should be less than a quarter of one's stories and comments.
