Try opening in different browser FF v Chrome. Or phone v desktop. Same image file but only sometimes renders.
Is there an associated blog post explaining the whys and hows?
Would be nice to show what is actually expected (with something that works for everyone). I only see a black square, is that what we're supposed to see ? (i guess not)

[ffmpeg/demuxer] mov,mp4,m4a,3gp,3g2,mj2: Derived Image item of type tmap is not implemented. Update your FFmpeg version to the newest one from Git. If the problem still occurs, it means that your file has a feature which has not been implemented.
The most likely theory is different decoders with different feature support.
It seems tmap might point to heif support.
Since this looks to be manually-crafted AVIF stuff, I pose a challenge: a tool to fiddle with the film grain parameters. I want to try making tiny high-quality noise patterns for web backgrounds and such, maybe even applying it to images as well. I know roughly what to do, but when it got to reduced_still_picture_header differences and such I shelved it because it was getting a little too complicated. Or if there were a pair of tools which dumped and serialised the frame headers so you could modify them in something like JSON… it’d be fun to play with. I struggled, as a newcomer to such things, to find any tools for deeply inspecting the file structure.
When we say we want the old internet back, this is not what we mean.
