The terrifying reality of agentic velocity is that our human management tools have failed to keep pace.
I would posit that the limiting factor is fundamentally not our tools but our ability to understand the codebase and the architecture. Put another way, it is our job as software people to understand software.
As the article mentions elsewhere, it is literally impossible for human understanding to keep pace with agentic code updates at even a fraction of maximum velocity. To frame the speed limit of understanding as a tooling problem is missing the point to such a degree that I think it's actually an inhumanely warped perspective. If those damn code monkeys would just build better tools for themselves, they could stop worrying about things like knowing what the hell they're building and build faster!
