Hey, that's mine! Thanks for submitting it. If folks have any questions, let me know here or at lcamtuf@coredump.cx - I'm happy to talk about the book (or really, about almost anything else).

With this book, my main goal was to provide a middle ground between hobbyist-friendly intros and academic textbooks such as "The Art of Electronics". SLC focuses on explaining the "why" and helping hobbyists develop robust intuition. For example, it derives key elements of circuit theory from first principles, without leaning on canned formulas or requiring prior knowledge of calculus.

In the same vein, the book emphasizes modern problem-solving, so there are no chapters on winding your own transformers, erasing EPROMs, or working with with CRTs. But you'll learn about PLLs, common ADC and DAC architectures, charge pumps, the peripherals of modern MCUs, and more.

Looks to be quite a high quality book. curious to see how they bridge the gap of non-linear components and circuit design.
