Exciting! But also a bit of a bummer that either there will be no Fedora 43, or it will definitionally be sub-par compared to Fedora 42, the ultimate Linux distribution and the answer to life, the universe, and everything. Obviously.
Maybe it’s finally time for Fedora to switch to a rolling release model like so many have asked for over the years! It can be 42 forever.
I had a quick look and couldn’t find anything in relation to Fedora 43, other than mentions of RPM 6 and reproducible builds. May I ask what you consider the potential problems to be for 43?
I upgraded when the beta came out and it’s been super smooth since. ostree also gives me a lot of confidence in being able to rollback in case something wasn’t working.
