How to Find Bugs in Systems That Don't Exist

I've just started using Quint as a formal specification tool. Using it to write specs is easier than I thought it would be, but still taxing.

I think the biggest gap I've encountered so far is an easily locatable, active community of practitioners (Quint, TLA+, P, whatever) that I can learn from. I want to know what the idioms, smells, patterns, etc are.
