I'm the author. Whether you feel forced to use AI or not, or simply refuse to use it, this may be useful to consider in case you are reluctant to be pulled into a cloud based application, which is the way some want to to take us exclusively. Or if you miss working with people more in a collaborative way.
It's not just about this open source project. I do hope you enjoy it though.
I don't want to use AI (much) with my bots, but I do want bots. Bots that tell me the Red Sox score, bots that tell me updates on my flights, bots that send me my RSS feeds.
The thing that keeps me from using email for that use case is that it's pretty hard to get a whole bunch of email addresses for cheap. I want an email address for my grocery list, and one for my to-read list.
What's the best source of non-Big Tech email addresses for free or nearly free?
Firefox Relay currently has quite a few (or unlimited?) addresses for free (with a Firefox Sync account). It still mentions a limit of 5 in some places, but it has been unlimited for a few months now.
Exactly why do you need multiple email addresses?
Plus addressing works in GMail and a couple of others, and might solve some scenarios. With Migadu, you pay for total storage and volume, mailboxes are free.
