Self-referencing Page Tables for the x86-Architecture

I hope a Windows NT expert can chime in because my (vague) understanding is that the NT page tables were/are themselves fully pageable (except for the root page). I believe that pageability was a central constraint in Cutler’s original design.
I'm not saying the post is less interesting but the domain definitely caught my eye. Either it must be one of the oldest .de ones or I missed some window where it was possible again to register 2-letter domains.
The well-known ones used to be vw.de / db.de / ix.de.
