Diving into Plasma Bigscreen

I love how KDE manages to attract so many motivated contributors despite the difficulty of getting started!

That looks nice. Maybe someday I’ll make the switch from my libreelec-kodi-rpi4 “TV PC”.

The article mentions kodi as a way to mamage a local library, but there is a pretty nice jellyfin integration plugin, so it also works for remote media libraries. About gaming, since I’ve discovered sunshine/moonlight to stream from my main Linux box, I have not looked much further. I know that the rpi4 is overpowered for being little more than a dumb terminal, but well, my setup works for me. Someday the urge to break it all will take over, and maybe that’ll be time for me to try plasma big screen.

What’s the main use for Plasma Bigscreen? I use Kodi on my TV (via an ARM board) and can’t think of any time I wanted more / other features.
