Splitting Konsole views from Helix to run tools

This reminds me of ircii which could use gnu screen as its multi-window layer instead of implementing a native multi-window solution. So for example if you joined a new channel you could have that reflected in a new screen tab.

This is great. I wonder how many other terminals and platforms this approach might work with. Currently I'm stuck on MacOS for much of my work. Looks like kitty has the ability to create split tabs/windows at least:
