The biggest thing for me is accessibility (screen reader) support in Tk.

There is also initial support for bidi/RTL and there is Unicode normalization in Tcl.

Sounds like a solid release.

These days, most of my Tcl work is (in) Expect. It's useful to be able to reach for actual code when a more simplistic string-response flow won't do.
