The phrase "a pure css implementation of some sunlight streaming in through the window" is so evocative I was expecting/hoping this would be an interesting piece of writing. The fact that it's actually a literal description of the code is cool too, just not what I thought it'd be.

The demo shows some kind of plant silhouette - I don't get that in the live version though, unless somehow the demo needs a display wider than 3000px to render that part?
