Folks keep calling genAI a tool to "democratize" creativity. The word they want is "colonize."

Tangential to the plagiarism problem that's the topic of TFA, here's a similar-in-concept older book from Douglas Adams (they re-use existing places' names instead of wordsmithing) :

It's not only about sad stuff, it's mostly humorous, but not only.
Would have assumed S & S have a service that flags copyright violations. Perhaps the website is new.
They apparently DMCA'ed Google over it twice last year, which Google then ignored.
Given the enormous legal liability of ignoring DMCA claims, that should if anything open doors.
