I love gemspace, It's a joy to write an article, check on your astrobotany, play farkle, read a bit, then sign off, having completed "the internet" for the day.
even with a gemspace browser on my cell phone, I don't feel the need to be always online. it's relaxing.
I do wish that google's AI project hadn't made the SEO of finding/sharing info so hard
If I was in charge of everything (I’m not, btw) I would rename the protocol to “readermode://”. Everyone would immediately understand what “readermode protocol” is and also why certain things are missing.

Which of those things are you doing in gemspace? Apologies if I'm misinterpreting that sentence. I'm not really familiar with the last two, and I'm vaguely aware you can send data to a server, so maybe it's possible to have a server-side editor over Gemini? Or maybe you do all of those things outside gemspace and it's only "read a bit" that's over Gemini.
I do all of those within gemspace. Well, i write my gemlog articles in a gemtext file in vim on the webserver, then publish to my capsule. But the other stuff is all there!
I have links to the games I like on my capsule" gemini://hegreberg.io
I could not live without Gemini anymore. Like @m_a_r_k, I find it so refreshing. I’m subscribed to many gemlogs and read content everyday through Antenna and Cosmos
