GNOME 2.20 but its Web Components

Damn I miss GNOME 2. This is actually awesome.

I'm starting to get excited about the idea of web OSes. At first they felt like a joke, but then I started to wonder: maybe this is really what it takes to give control of the desktop environment back to users?
