Organising a local systems talk event/meetup. It's our third one, and it's a bit of work but also great fun! You should start one in your city, or come to ours if you're in Ottawa.
Last stretch of the nlnet funded work on marginalia, but before that I'm trying to unwind a bit because ya boy is feeling a mite bit wrung out.
Upside of being your own boss is you get to work on fun projects and problems all the time.
Downside of being your own boss is sometimes you get so wrapped up in these fun projects and problems you accidentally work several consecutive 80 hour weeks, which works exactly until it doesn't.
I'm continuing to recover from my surgery last month, catching up on Anubis PRs, playing video games, and working on ideas for a simple AI agent thing to help get the CEO to be happy at my dayjob.
