This is neat, I did something similar with ssss directly a few days ago to yeet Twitter (https://blog.divyendusingh.com/p/leaving-twitter-with-shamirs-secret).

I ended up using ssss directly because I wanted to use physical post (+ simple ciphers) to distribute the splits.
