Why should it be used instead WireGuard?
Discord community, mirrors on GitHub and mail-only contributing feels weird and not really assuring, as well as authors genAI profile picture.
You don't have too. I built this for myself and my hacker friends and am happy enough with the result to share it as an ISC licensed open source project. Lots of patches are sent by mail, I don't see an issue.
Wireguard in its own doesn't offer the peer discover that works behind nat. That's why I use zerotier instead, but the sanctum/reliquary could replace it.
