Since the original post - which was a while ago - several improvements and changes have been made: There is a JIT compiler that can compile certain functions directly into WASM, resulting in a big speed increase; built-in tab completion in the browser IDE, which makes programming and learning to program much faster and easier; as well as several language extensions and changes.
