This was a great read. Thanks for sharing. Your lessons must be really interesting and your students are really lucky to have you :) have a great one, if you're reading this!

one stream of consciousness starting with "I’m stressed, this doesn’t make any sense. Why can’t we correct what we write in this file" then, 15 lines later "this is funny how writing the questions with my own words made the problem much clearer and how the stress start to fade away".

I lean on this mechanism heavily, in a couple of ways.

For one, that's the main reason why I rarely ask questions (e.g. on StackOverflow when it was still relevant, but also the company chat or what have you). By the time I'm done writing the question, I framed my mind around the problem and can see the solution myself.

And another way is doing this to others. Someone pings me, asking if we can have a short chat because they need my help. I ask them what about. Then frequently in a few lines of chat, we figure it out.

For Bikepunk, my new post-apocalyptic-cyclist book, my publisher is looking for contacts in other countries to distribute it in languages other than French

For some reason I feel like this is the book I need in my life right now.. Best of luck with the publisher search!
