100000 TPS over a billion rows: the unreasonable effectiveness of SQLite

Application servers in different data centers from the DB server is mentioned early on, but this isn't possible with the Sqlite version either, unless you can shard the data (and requests) by DC, right? It just seems a little unfair to ding Postgres for something Sqlite can't do either...
