How to effectively debug when you no longer understand the code

Neither of the caches have it and of course medium is walled, but I will comment on the title: by definition if you’re debugging you don’t understand the code and you need to treat it as a phenomenon to investigate.

I don't think this post is telling the story that the author thinks it is.
